Atomium

An excellent attraction. Easy to get into, a reasonable cafe and gift shop at the entrance/exit. Lots of interesting information about the building. Exciting and interesting art installations to provide something to post online! A fabulous view from the top.

The only slight issue is the queue for the lift to the top. It takes about half an hour but is well worth it. The queue to come down is much shorter.
It’s a big wheel high on a hill and gives you a great view across Brussels. 9 euros for three laps is pretty good value although I’m not sure the third lap is really necessary!
A wonderful collection of art from a vast area of the world from the middle east right across to the eastern edges of China. Fabulous ceramics, scrolls, sculpture, metalwork and jewellery from hundreds of cultures and thousands of years of human civilisation.

One of the lesser known - and therefore quieter - museums in Washington there is plenty of space and time to really inspect and enjoy the works on display.

There are guided tours which are certainly worth joining. Everything is free which is extraordinary!
This was included in the entrance ticket price of the Atomium otherwise I would not have known about it.

It’s not a huge museum but what is there was very interesting and presented in very cool, funky way.
