Pretty good. The layout is a little different than the Chula Vista location, but the food is the same great quality that we love from TEG. Secret seating upstairs is nice!

As much of a “dive” you can ask for in the downtown/Gaslamp part of SD!

This place is simple… they have 3-4 meat choices and a few things you can order with those meats. Line chefs put your food together right in front of you & send you on! Even on a busy night, it takes just a couple minutes.

And the food was amazing! Clearly made with love for tacos. Amen & hallelujah.

I totally get the hype behind this local corner shop & will pass along the recommendation to anyone in the area! Stop here, even if it’s just one taco. It’ll make your San Diego experience better.
